Signing in

How to sign in to CloseUp, what to do with a verification code, and where you land afterwards.

Every working day starts here. It takes under a minute — and after the first time it's automatic.

Steps

  1. 01

    Open the sign-in page

    The sign-in page greets you with "Good to see you again 👋". On a computer you'll see a CloseUp panel on one side and the form on the other; on a phone, just the form.

    You should see: You see two fields: email or username, and password.

    Type your details

    Email or username›Password›Sign in

    In Email or username type your email or your username — both work.
    In Password type your password. Click the eye icon to see what you typed.

    Tip: Seeing "We couldn't sign you in"? Check for a stray space and that the keyboard is in the right language.

    If asked for a code — open your authenticator

    Verification code›Verify and sign in

    If two-step verification is on, a second screen appears: Two-step verification.
    Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password), type the 6 digits into Verification code and click Verify and sign in.

    Tip: No phone handy? Type one of your backup codes into the same field instead.

    You land on the right screen

    After signing in you're taken straight to what matters for your role:

    • Sales reps → Leads — your lead list.
    • Managers → Management dashboard — the whole sales picture.
    • Owners of a new company → the company setup screen, until setup is finished.
    You should see: You're in, with the main menu on the side.

Questions

The system logged me out on its own. Why?

For security, after about 30 minutes with no activity you're signed out. A minute before, a "Your session is about to end" window appears — click Keep working to stay. Each sign-in also lasts at most 12 hours.

Is there a "remember me" box?

No — on purpose. A system holding customer data should sign itself out when nobody is using it.

I forgot my password.
