Android and desktop
Personal settings → Preferences → Phone alerts → Turn on phone alerts and approve the browser prompt.
Or when "New lead? We'll pop up a message" appears — Turn on alerts.You should see: Send test alert — if it arrives, you're set. - 02
iPhone / iPad (iOS 16.4+)
1. Open CloseUp in Safari.
2. Share → "Add to Home Screen".
3. Open CloseUp from the icon.
4. Now enable as above.Note: From a normal Safari tab it won't work — Apple only allows alerts for Home Screen apps. - 03
Choose what to be alerted about
Under What to alert about: new and returning leads · lead assigned to me · incoming messages · call & meeting reminders · deletion requests.
Show lead name on lock screen — off by default.Tip: This card saves itself. - 04
Turn off on a device
Turn off on this device. Connected devices lists all (up to 10). Logging out turns alerts off on that device.
Questions
"Notifications are blocked".
You blocked them in the browser before. Browser settings → site permissions → notifications → Allow.
Is there a notification centre?
No. Alerts pop up while you work and arrive as push notifications.
And emails?
Preferences has toggles for email, WhatsApp and in-app alerts. Company-wide rules are set by your admin.
