A CRM is supposed to help you sell more. If your reps treat it as a chore, it has quietly become the opposite.
1. Reps update it after hours, not during work
When logging happens at 6pm "to keep the CRM clean," the tool is not part of the workflow — it is homework. Capture should be automatic.
2. The real conversation lives somewhere else
If the actual deal is happening in WhatsApp and email while the CRM holds a stale summary, your system of record is fiction.
3. Nobody knows who to call next
A pipeline list is not a priority list. Without intent-based ranking, reps guess — and guess wrong.
4. Reporting requires manual cleanup
If every forecast needs a spreadsheet to fix the CRM's data, the data was never trustworthy to begin with.
5. Onboarding a new rep takes weeks
Complex, manual tools have steep learning curves. A tool that tells reps what to do next is productive on day one.
If the CRM feels like a second job, reps will do the minimum — and your data dies with it.
